This exhibition connects to the struggles of life, and the uncertainty of fate. There is a sadness that hovers above us all, as we hold on to the past, neglect the present, and fear the future. The darkness of night can bring out the unhappiness and anxieties we may feel, and is believed to be healed by the warmth of the sun and the light of day.

Darkness creates a universal sensation of immobility as we wait for the light to bring a purpose, a connection, and a sense of certainty. As we stand unmoved expecting answers, the night falls upon us, and a new cycle of waiting begins.

Not Dark Yet reflects on the comparison of light and dark, and how they represent life and death, angels and demons, hope and hopelessness. With light there must be darkness. We must not let this darkness determine our fate.
